Heather is a board-certified Adult Nurse Practitioner and is also board-certified in hospice and palliative care. She is a graduate of Salve Regina University and Boston College. Heather has worked at MGH/MGB since 2003. She completed a Clinical Pastoral Education for Health Care Professionals fellowship in 2007. She joined the Massachusetts General Hospital Division of Palliative Care & Geriatric Medicine Clinic in 2014. She is currently the NP Lead in the clinic and has passion for supporting RN/NPs and is focused on program development in the outpatient setting. Heather co-teaches a pharmacology course on palliative care at HMS. She is chair of the Division of Palliative Care & Geriatric Medicine's Social Media committee and an apprentice at HMS Palliative Care Education and Practice conference with hopes to become a small group leader in the future. Most importantly, Heather has particular interest in the care of patients with cancer and their families.
