Pediatric Advanced Care Team Rounds

Pediatric Advanced Care Team (PACT) Rounds provide a forum for medical professionals and other individuals in the Boston community to learn about topics germane to the care of children with life-threatening conditions and their families. The ultimate goal of PACT Rounds is to optimize care for such children and families, and to maximize their wellbeing and quality of life regardless of their treatment course or illness trajectory.

Who should attend

Healthcare trainees and professionals caring for individuals and families faced with serious illness

Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Integrate state of the art and evidence-based approaches into the care of children and families faced with serious illness
  • Consider the many facets of caring for children with serious illness and their families, to promote and support their physical, psychosocial and spiritual wellbeing

Schedule and location

PACT Rounds are usually held on the second Thursday of each month (September-July), from 1:00-2:00 at Boston Children’s Hospital.

Accreditation

The Harvard Medical School is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians and designates each session for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
