Amanda Moment, MSW, LICSW, has worked as palliative care social worker for over 12 years, primarily on Brigham & Women’s Intensive Palliative Care Unit, a 12-bed oncology unit focused on providing complex medical and psychosocial care.
Amanda specializes in issues of work sustainability, legacy planning and family communication about advance illness and end of life issues. In her time at the Brigham, Amanda has co-chaired the BWH Bereavement Committee, participated on the Social Work Advisory Group and served as a faculty member for the HMS Center for Palliative Care Fellowship.
Amanda has also provided clinical education and supervision to multiple staff members and students and presented and taught at numerous conferences.
